The New Media Consortium recently published the Horizon Report K-12 Edition. The K-12 Edition examines emerging technologies for their potential impact on and use in teaching, learning, and creative inquiry in pre-college education environments. In its time-to-adoption horizon of one year or less, the Report lists cloud computing, creation of collaborative environments, mobiles and apps, and tablet computing.
