Distimo Provides Analytics Regarding the Number of App Downloads Needed to Get into Top 25

June 20, 2012|Posted in: Technology

Being in the top 25 in the App Store is the most important thing for an apps developer. On May 16, 2012 a mobile app store analytics firm Distimo published a blog in which it provided statistics as to how many downloads are required to get an app into the top 25 list per category. In the category of Education, where our apps are listed, it takes approximately 120 daily downloads of free apps and 130 downloads of paid apps to be featured in the top 25. Interestingly, if the app is listed in the Games – Educational subcategory, then only 70 daily app downloads are required for free apps and 50 – for paid apps.
